We may collect information that you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, account information, profile information, race registration information, event preferences, race results or participation information, communications with us, and information submitted through Race Gator forms.
When registering for an event, we may also collect participant information required by the applicable race, such as date of birth, gender, emergency contact information, apparel selections, waiver acknowledgments, and responses to registration questions.
Race directors and event organizers may provide information about themselves, their organizations, and their events when submitting, claiming, managing, or promoting races through Race Gator.
We may also automatically collect certain technical information when you use Race Gator, such as device and browser information, IP address, pages viewed, race listings viewed, registration links selected, referring pages, and other information about how our services are used.
How We Use Information
We may use information we collect to provide and operate Race Gator; create and manage user accounts; process race registrations; communicate registration and event information; provide race discovery, results, community, and race director features; maintain and improve our services; respond to support requests; prevent fraud or misuse; analyze how Race Gator is used; and comply with applicable legal obligations.
We may also use contact information to send Race Gator news, event information, promotions, or other marketing communications where permitted by law. Race Registration and Event Organizers
When you register for a race through Race Gator, information necessary to administer your participation may be provided to the organizer of that event and its authorized service providers.
Race organizers may use participant information for legitimate event-related purposes such as participant management, race communications, bib assignment, timing, results, safety, fulfillment, and other activities necessary to conduct the event.
Event organizers are responsible for their own handling of participant information once provided to them and may have their own privacy practices.
Payments
Race Gator may use third-party payment processors to process registration fees and other transactions. Payment card information may be collected and processed directly by the payment processor rather than stored by Race Gator. We may receive transaction information such as payment status, transaction identifiers, amounts, and related information needed to administer your purchase or registration.

Race Gator may allow users to create profiles and participate in community features. Information you choose to make available through a public profile, group, post, comment, or other community feature may be visible to other users or the public.
